Our Wedding

From the very beginning, there was a natural comfort and connection between them, as if their hearts recognized each other before they even realized it. Every conversation felt effortless, every shared moment filled with warmth, and every laugh brought them closer together. Over time, that connection blossomed into a deep and abiding love, built on trust, respect, and a mutual understanding that they had found something rare and beautiful in one another. What started as a simple spark has grown into a love that shapes their days, comforts them in challenges, and fills their lives with joy. Now, they cannot imagine life without each other, and they are endlessly grateful for the journey that brought them here. They love doing devotionals and spending time with the Lord together, spending time in nature, listening to music, tasting their way through new restaurants, and traveling near and far. Fishing is a favorite, though sometimes they catch more laughs than fish! They never say no to anything thrilling or adventurous. Life is just sweeter when they’re exploring, laughing, and making memories together!

As the wedding day approaches, Ashley and Jeremy are filled with joy, excitement, and deep gratitude. This celebration is, of course, about their love and commitment to each other, but it is also about the incredible people who walked beside them along the way.

Each of you in the bridal and groom party holds a special place in their story. You have poured into their lives in countless ways through prayer, encouragement, laughter, honesty, support, and the kind of friendship that endures seasons and storms. You’ve been more than friends; you’ve been family.

From the bottom of their hearts, Ashley and Jeremy thank you for being part of their journey and for standing with them as they step into this next beautiful chapter.

The Bridal Party 

Nia is the sister of the bride. Ashley and Nia are as close as sisters can be, and share so many of the same mannerisms that people often believe them to be twins. Ashley often refers to Nia as her Heartbeat, because she couldn’t live life without her.

M’Kaila is Ashley’s best friend of over 10 years. M’Kaila gave Ashley a school tour on their first day of 10th grade, and since that day they have been inseparable, supporting each other through the best and most difficult times of life.

Jess is Ashley’s best friend since 4th grade. She and Ashley have accomplished so many milestones along the way and have been cheering each other on since childhood. Their friendship is vibrant and fun, and the two share so many fun memories!

Udo and Ashley are dear friends (more like sisters) from high school, sharing many beautiful memories and funny stories. Udo and Ashley spent almost everyday together during the COVID pandemic, enjoying each other’s company and staying active.

Taylor and Ashley are trusted friends and devoted line sisters. The two of them share many memorable college experiences including leadership and campus involvement. They became exceptionally close as sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Gabrielle is one of Ashley’s first friends.  She has been a constant source of laughter, loyalty, and love since the very beginning. She showed Ashley what it means to have someone who understands and stands by you through every season of life.

Harmony and Ashley are loving friends and cherished line sisters. Their friendship holds a depth of care and understanding that is precious. They have been prayer partners and a steady source of encouragement through both the bright moments and the challenges of adulthood.

Taren was one of the first people Ashley met when she went to college. She was a mentor and a friend to Ashley, who has always admired Taren for being an unwavering woman of God and a dynamic and outspoken leader. Taren and Ashley built a strong sisterhood through the years.

Jeremy and Briason may be first cousins, but to Jeremy, he’s more like the brother he never had — his day one. Their bond runs deeper than blood, built on loyalty, respect, friendship, and always being there for each other.

Over the years, Julian and Jeremy have grown closer. He’s always fun to be around and full of good energy, but Jeremy also values the serious, meaningful conversations they share.

Christopher, Jeremy’s future brother-in-law, is someone Jeremy values for his calm, levelheaded advice. He’s always ready with helpful, brotherly prayer and guidance, especially when it comes to marriage.

Hassan is former college teammate of the groom, and has always been the guy who can lift everyone’s spirits. Known for his humor and sincerity, Jeremy grateful for his friendship and the good times they’ve shared over the years.

Devin and Jeremy have been best friends since middle school, building an unshakable brotherhood over the years. They’ve been each other’s shoulder to lean on through every season of life, and when they’re together, it’s guaranteed to be a good time.

From the moment Jeremy held Kardion as a baby, he knew he wanted to be someone his nephew could count on. Today, he’s grateful for the man Kardion is becoming and the bond they share.

Tay and Jeremy grew up in the same city and were college basketball teammates. He has always had Jeremy’s back through the tough times, and Jeremy is thankful for his friendship.
